Summer is on its way, festival tickets are being sold by the truckload and everyone is gearing themselves up for endless sun, sea and sand. So what could be better than a festival on the beach featuring the best DJs around? Get your tickets for the Intuition Summer Festival 2010 and electrify your summer!
The Winter Festival, held to celebrate the five-year anniversary of Intuition, is long gone. It's high time for a summer edition! The Summer Festival will take place on Saturday the 21st of August at Beachclub BLM9 in Bloemendaal aan Zee! DJs from all around the globe will be flown in so that you can enjoy 13 hours of national and international talent.
Get ready to be blown away by the following star DJs:
Canadian producer Arnej (CA) catapulted himself into the elite of the global scene with tracks such as ‘Rendezvous' and ‘They Always Come Back'. Boom Jinx (NO) has performed his sets throughout the world and spun at events such as the Above & Beyond USA tour. Fellow Norwegian Ørjan Nilsen(NO) continues to release success after success, such as the recent release ‘La Guitarra'. Ørjan has also been invited to produce this years theme song for the Intuition Summer Festival, the track is called ‘Sanctuary' and is destined to be one of the anthems of this year.
And that is just the beginning. For a start, Lange (UK) will be making an entrance! He is known throughout the scene and is much in demand throughout the world, performing everywhere from Amnesia in Ibiza to Tomorrowland in Belgium. Expect nothing less than the best in summer trance sounds and the very latest tracks from his album ‘Harmonic Motion', scheduled for release on 5 July. Let this talented Brit transport you from Bloemendaal beach to another world! Simon Patterson (UK) also features amongst this impressive line-up. In 2009, he was rated number 42 in the DJ Magazine Top 100, and many people in the know expect him to be the star of 2010.
And what about fellow Brit Mat Zo (UK)? In addition to remixing for the biggest names in the global scene, this up-and-coming young producer/DJ has also released a number of fantastic tracks for labels such as Armada Music and Intuition Recordings. He combines electronic music with drum and bass, trance and progressive house, which gives him a completely unique sound.
Of course, there will be no shortage of home-grown DJs. Firstly, First State (NL) will be making an entrance at the festival. Tracks such as ‘Brave' and ‘Cape Point' made a considerable impact in the scene, as did his increasingly popular radio show ‘Crossroads'. He will give you a tantalising taste of his sound, best described as trance with a touch of house. Another Dutch act who will feature is the in-demand producer/DJ duo W&W (NL). In less than three years, these two have established a fantastic reputation as DJs, with a twice-weekly online radio show and a fully booked schedule for the coming festival season to prove it. Julian Vincent (NL)is yet another Dutch DJ who will feature at Bloemendaal. Proof of his star status can be found in the fact that last autumn, no less than two of his tracks featured on ‘Universal Religion 4', Armin van Buuren's exclusive compilation CD. He is famed for his cutting-edge mix of trance and progressive. Finally, the Dutch city Zwolle will be represented at the festival by the much in demand duo MuseArtic (NL). With a number of successful releases that featured at last year's Intuition Deep festival, they will certainly not be out of their depth among the talent on display this summer.
And finally, the festival would not be complete without Menno de Jong (NL). As the founder of Intuition, the successful Dutch dance label, which also has a radio show, podcast and event organisation bearing the same name, he really doesn't need any introduction. His new mix album 'Intuition Sessions Vol. 2 - Rio de Janeiro' is scheduled to be released very soon. In addition, with a brand-new solo album currently in the making, the mastermind of this amazing event will undoubtedly entrance the crowds with some amazing new tracks.
