Anno 2008 kan Armin van Buuren één van de meest succesvolle DJ's aller tijden genoemd worden en verkoopt hij met zijn optredens complete stadions uit. Miljoenen fans luisteren naar zijn muziek en volgen hem over de hele wereld. Begin dit jaar begon Armin met een wereldtournee verspreid over vijf verschillende continenten. Deze tour staat volledig in het teken van zijn nieuwe succesvolle artiestenalbum: ‘IMAGINE'. Het album kwam een week na de release op nummer 1 binnen van de Nederlandse Album Top 100. Ook de DVD registratie van zijn laatste Armin Only-show in de jaarbeurs in Utrecht bekleed op dit moment de 1ste positie van de Nederlandse Muziek DVD top 30.

De Armin Only-show met als thema ‘IMAGINE' betekende de kick off van zijn wereldtournee. Het was een daverend succes. Na een uitverkochte Jaarbeurs is het concept door gereisd naar Sydney, Melbourne en Boekarest. Later dit jaar zal Armin Only nog in Polen te zien zijn maar op zaterdag 25 oktober gaat de reis eerst naar België! ID&T en Alda Events presenteren dan ook vol trots; ‘Armin Only IMAGINE' in De Ethias Arena in Hasselt. Van 22.00 tot 06.00 uur zal deze locatie het decor zijn van een 8 uur durend optreden van Armin van Buuren. Daarnaast zullen diverse live-artiesten hun opwachting maken gedurende de avond. | Who would have expected ten years ago that Armin van Buuren would be a megastar in 2008 with more than a million dedicated fans all over the world, probably only Armin himself. In ten years his playfield moved from small clubs to the biggest soccer stadiums and from a few listeners to evenings which are completely sold out. This year Armin’s gigs are to be found on every continent to promote his latest album ‘Imagine’. 2008 is in light of this world tour! |
Many of Armin's trips go to the other side of the Atlantic Oceon, ‘Down Under' or the Far East, but this time he stays close to his home country. On the 25th of October Hasselt in Belgium is the place to be. ID&T and Alda Events proudly presents the one and only solo concert: Armin Only! From 22.00 till 06.00 hour the Ethias Arena will be transformed to a party-place Belgium has never seen before. An 8 hour set, with special guests and features. It isn't necessary to mention that Armin Only Hasselt will be one of the most spectacular productions!
